Jupiter and its Moons
A photo of Jupiter taken on 2022-12-31 using a 560 mm telelens (35 mm equivalent) and a tripod. Four of its moons can be seen, from left to right: Io, Europa, Callisto, Ganymede. They're called Galilean moons as they can be seen using even the simplest equipment. Note: photo is heavily cropped.
At the same time other planets can be seen (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn) but they're barely a faint, but bright, dot.
